The Super Herring Special™ is designed for whole bait from 6-9" (15-23cm) long. When fished correctly with larger Anchovies, Herring or other whole baitfish it produces a tight revolving action. The hook must be set into the bait to obtain the right action. For normal trolling conditions the lure should revolve 1 to 2 times per second.

Excellent for chinook, coho, trout, and halibut when slow trolled with larger whole herring.
