Sinking-Tip Fly Line

So you know where the fish are holding. You’ve done your research. But you just don’t know how deep they are. Luckily, the Sonar Sink Tip fly line offers a variety of solutions for all of your depth-finding needs. Ideal for streamers and wet flies for steelhead, salmon, and bass in moving water.

FEATURES:

• Ideal for streamers and wet flies for steelhead, salmon, and bass
• Longer taper provides easy turnover, better presentation
• Braided multifilament core

Sink Tip Sink Rates:

Sink 3 = 2.50 – 4.25 ips
Sink 4 = 3.75 – 5.25 ips

TECHNOLOGIES:

SA•ID
An innovative line-marking system allowing you to identify your lines at a glance. Wonder if a shooting head is 200 grain or a 300? Just look at the SA•ID. The SA•ID can be found on the first 1-2 feet of the tip section of your line.

Shooting Technology Plus
Much like the patented Advanced Shooting Technology, the ST+ is an integrated slickness additive built into the coatings of our fly lines, providing continual line slickness as the coating continues to wear. The ST+ additive enhances the slickness of fly lines even more than AST, and lines with ST+ shoot farther and float higher than any lines ever have before.

Welded Loop
Exceptionally slick and strong, Welded Loops produce smoother casts and easier turnover with a seamless fly-line-to-loop transition, making for softer landings and cleaner pickups. The sleek design also maintains buoyancy for improved fly-line flotation and enables quicker connections between fly line and leaders or fly line and backing.

Sonar Sinking Technology
For every one fish eating on top, there are ten feeding beneath it. SONAR sinking technology takes flies to where the fish are: beneath the surface. Using proprietary tungsten formulations and unique tapering, the SONAR sinking technology gets flies down, and keeps them there.
